The Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers – UAE Chapter (PIIE-UAE Chapter) is the official representation of the global PIIE organization in the United Arab Emirates. Established to serve the growing community of Filipino industrial engineers in the region, we have become a cornerstone for professional development and community engagement.
Our members come from diverse industries including oil and gas, aviation, manufacturing, healthcare, logistics and technology. United by our commitment to engineering excellence, we work together to advance our profession and contribute to the UAE’s economic growth.

Frequently asked questions
Membership is open to Filipino Industrial Engineers, Industrial Engineering graduates, students and professionals working in Industrial Engineering-related fields who are currently residing or employed in the United Arab Emirates.
We also welcome eligible applicants who are currently based outside the UAE. However, please note that onsite training sessions, workshops and in-person activities are generally available only to members who can attend within the UAE.

The PIIE-UAE Chapter is officially affiliated with the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) National through a formal Memorandum of Understanding.
The agreement recognizes the establishment of the chapter by Industrial Engineering graduates from Philippine Universities who are currently living and working in the United Arab Emirates.
As an international chapter, PIIE-UAE supports the advancement of the Industrial Engineering profession among Filipino practitioners in the UAE while remaining aligned with the mission, vision, professional standards and initiatives of PIIE National.

Some events are open to the public, while others are exclusive to registered PIIE-UAE Chapter members. We recommend registering early as certain activities may have limited slots.
Yes. We welcome members and professionals who would like to share their time, knowledge, skills and experience with the community.
Please visit the Get Involved page to submit an application to volunteer, serve as a speaker or trainer, participate as an assessor or propose a program, project, webinar, workshop or other chapter initiative. All submissions will be reviewed based on the chapter’s needs, schedule and activity requirements.
Yes. We understand that many of our members have busy work schedules and may not always be available to attend live training sessions or onsite workshops.
To provide a more flexible learning option, the PIIE-UAE Chapter is currently developing a Learning Management System (LMS). Through this platform, members will be able to access learning materials anytime and anywhere allowing them to enhance their knowledge and professional skills at their own pace.
